Matilda coffee&veganbakes

A coffee shop I'd been curious about for a while. They've apparently been operating on a back-alley behind the back-alley for two years. From the Instagram hashtag "week one sweet vegan," the owner's intent comes through warmly. I visited around 13:00, and after I ordered, about five regulars lined up behind me and the place got lively. Maybe it's loved just as much even on rainy days. This day I had the Crumble Blueberry. I'm so glad all the baked goods are vegan and gluten-free. They told me it would be ready in 5 more minutes, so I slowly waited for the muffin. The owner kindly added, "baked goods taste more settled and delicious when they've cooled," but I happen to love them fresh from the oven, so I gratefully had it warm and fluffy. It's a takeout-only shop, but they let me eat the muffin on the spot, quickly. The sweetness was just my taste, with a moist and fluffy texture — I want to repeat! At the entrance, there's an initiative to reduce waste with bring-your-own or rental cups for takeout — I thought that was lovely.
