On a trip home I passed by and kept thinking about the word "rice flour" written on the signboard… but couldn't drop in for a while. On a weekend I finally got to visit while running an errand! My goal was the "rice-flour roll" I'd seen on the sign. The menu also has onigiri sets, grilled fish sets, toast, sandwiches, etc., and since I was hungry, I ordered an onigiri set too. The "rice-flour roll" contains no wheat, eggs, or dairy. From three flavors — snow white, snow-country matcha, and orange mix — I had matcha. The roll batter was moist and paired excellently with the matcha — very delicious. However, I couldn't find clear allergen displays beyond the rice-flour roll, and there were no details on the homepage either. Below the menu there's a notice saying "For allergen info, please ask staff," but the shop was crowded with a long line at the register, so I couldn't get detailed confirmation this time. I'm gluten-intolerant, and trace amounts in things like soy sauce or dressings are usually no problem for me (as opposed to wheat itself in bread or noodles). So I ordered the onigiri set without confirmation and had no issues with my condition. But for those with severe wheat allergies or celiac disease who react even to trace amounts, since they cook in the same environment as items containing wheat, there's a risk of cross-contamination, so it would be safer to check in advance. They're open from early morning, so it's wonderful to have one more choice for stops on the way to or from trips. I hope this can be useful as a reference for those who, like me, choose gluten-free as part of managing their health.
