2025.11.20“Halal Ramen Gyumon”
I visited this restaurant in Ikebukuro during lunchtime, and to my surprise, there were almost no customers. They serve Halal Wagyu yakiniku dishes, tempuras, and even Wagyu Ramen. Menu items are fully Halal. They’ve clearly written “Halal” on the main entrance wall, and they even have a prayer room available.
The prices are on the higher side compared to regular ramen shops. The standard ramen was around 2,850 yen, and if you want to add spice, you pay extra up to 500 yen depending on the level. I added level 1 for 100 yen, and for me it was a comfortable medium spiciness. The soup itself was rich and flavorful, and the wagyu on top was tender.
One thing I noticed is that the place doesn’t seem busy at all, and I am guessing it is due to location and high price. There was only one person handling everything from cooking in the kitchen, serving the tables, and managing the cashier. Still, the restaurant was very clean, and I enjoyed the calm atmosphere.
Overall, I think it’s worth a visit, especially because Halal ramen is still quite rare in Tokyo. If you’re looking for a quiet spot with Halal Wagyu options, this place is a good pick.
