2025.12.18“Istanbul Turkish Restaurant”
Istanbul (Ginza–Yurakucho area) is one of the more decent and reliable Turkish restaurants in this area, especially if you’re craving real comfort Turkish food in Ginza. It is located in Ginza corridor. Their lunch set is well-balanced and satisfying. You get soup, salad, a main dish, and Turkish tea, which feels generous by Ginza standards. The standout for me is their mercimek çorbası (red lentil soup).I usually get their Adana kebab, but this time I went for something new. It was zucchini and feta cheese pan fried meal with soup and salad. As usual it was filling and delicious.
Also, I love how Instagram worthy their mozaik tiled walls are. Small Turkish-pattern tiles, and the details are so beautiful.
I’ve personally been going to this restaurant for many years, and over time I’ve asked the same question again and again about the Halal certification. The owner and staff consistently assure me that the meat they use is halal. That said, this restaurant doesn’t specifically market itself to Muslim customers, so there are no halal marks on the menu. From my experience, they are transparent when asked, but it’s more of a trust-based situation rather than formal certification.
